Is it airline approved?

PortaPaw™ is designed for ground travel, road trips, and train journeys. Due to its dimensions (22"H x 17"W x 12"D) and dual-compartment structure, it exceeds standard under-seat airline carry-on requirements. We recommend checking with your specific airline for cargo or checked pet policies. A compact travel version designed for cabin use is on our future product roadmap.

How do I clean the litter compartment?

The lower litter compartment is designed for quick, mess-free cleaning. Simply press both spring-loaded clip hooks simultaneously to detach the upper compartment, lift it away, then remove the magnetic lid. Slide out the mesh filter tray using its built-in handles, dispose of waste, rinse the tray, and wipe down the interior with a pet-safe cleaner. The interior is waterproof and washable. The entire process takes under two minutes.

What size pets fit?

The upper resting compartment measures 14"H x 17"W x 12"D, making it suitable for most cats and small dogs up to approximately 15–18 lbs. We always recommend measuring your pet and comparing to the interior dimensions before purchasing. If your pet is on the larger end, feel free to contact us at support@tynsy.pet and we'll help you determine the best fit.

When will it ship?

TYNSY PortaPaw™ is currently in the final stages of production development. Customers who reserve now will be among the first to receive their unit when production is confirmed. We will communicate shipping timelines directly to all early supporters via email as soon as dates are locked in. We appreciate your patience — we're committed to getting this right before we ship.

Is it waterproof?

The exterior shell is made from durable ABS plastic, which is water-resistant and easy to wipe clean. The interior of both compartments is waterproof and washable. The magnetic lid is designed to contain litter and prevent moisture from transferring between compartments during travel.

What about returns?

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Pre-order reservations can be cancelled at any time before your order ships for a full refund — no questions asked. Once your unit has shipped, standard return terms apply. Can I purchase PortaPad™ refills separately?

Yes. PortaPad™ absorbent liners — custom-fit for the upper compartment of PortaPaw™ — will be available for individual purchase in 5-pack and 10-pack sizes. Every PortaPaw™ unit ships with one complimentary 5-pack included. Refill packs will be available through tynsy.pet once the product launches.

Is shipping included?

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location. Early supporters who reserve during the pre-launch period will receive preferential shipping rates. We currently ship within the United States, with international shipping options to be announced at launch. For specific shipping inquiries, contact support@tynsy.pet.

What colors are available?

PortaPaw™ is available in three premium colorways: Light Grey, Dusty Mauve Blush, and Soft Sand. All three colors are available at the same price. You'll be able to select your preferred color at checkout.

What is the weight of PortaPaw™?

Final product weight will be confirmed once manufacturing is complete. We will update this page as soon as specifications are finalized. If this is important for your purchasing decision, sign up for our waitlist and we'll notify you directly when full specs are published.

Is the mesh filter tray included?

Yes, every PortaPaw™ unit ships as a complete system including the upper pet carrier compartment, lower litter compartment, magnetic lid, and mesh filter tray. Everything you need is included in the box.

How do the two compartments connect?

The upper and lower compartments connect via two spring-loaded clip hooks located on the left and right sides of the upper compartment. The hooks engage with corresponding slots on the lower compartment, forming a secure, stable connection. To separate, simply press both hooks simultaneously and lift the upper compartment away cleanly.
